The Public Policy Leadership Series educated community leaders interested in serving in public office on the tenets of good public policy and governance. The program is a partnership with the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. Through the five week course, class members will learn about issues impacting Nevada, public budgets and revenue sources, communication and accountability, as well as roles and responsibilities of serving in office.
The class will hear from policy experts, as well as elected officials to learn practical information they need to know to become effective civic leaders.
